Myriam-Fernanda is Annenberg’s 2024 Luminary Fellow. They are a reporter from Colorado previously focusing on Spanish language news and arts&culture coverage. They graduated in May from USC with two Bachelor of Arts degrees in Journalism and English - Creative Writing where they led a national solutions journalism grant project on community mental health. Myriam-Fernanda has worked on several podcasts including Eduardo Chavez’s “We are Latinx,” and was a show host on Amp. Outside of journalism, Myriam-Fernanda is a published poet and works on advocacy for the LBGTQ+ community.
